The 2011 Audi TT Coupe is equipped with a 2.0T, 211hp TFSI® engine that produces 258 lb/ft of torque. It's the first large-scale production engine to combine gasoline direct injection with turbocharging. The 2.0 TFSI also combines the Audi valvelift system and variable valve timing to create maximum torque across a wide spectrum of RPM while reducing fuel consumption by up to 7 percent. No wonder it's been named one of the "10 Best Engines" by Ward's five years running. The standard quattro® all-wheel drive offers superior traction, shifting power between the rear and front axles as needed to ensure optimal handling, regardless of road conditions. The S tronic® Dual-clutch Transmission ensures lightning-fast shifting (0.2 seconds) between gears. And the TT Coupe's fuel economy – 21 MPG city, 29 MPG highway – leads its class.

The sport-tuned MacPherson suspension of the TT Coupe provides an extremely responsive and smooth driving experience. The front suspension components isolate road harshness and cabin vibration. The elimination of upper control arms in the design saves weight and reduces unsprung mass at each wheel. The suspension system is further enhanced by advanced Audi Magnetic Ride technology, which allows the driver to choose between "normal" and "sport" modes to customize the ride and feel of the TT Coupe for optimal performance in varying conditions.
The TT Coupe is newly designed for 2011, with a number of eye-catching, assertive features that further its reputation as a design icon. The front bumper frames a High-Gloss Black Singleframe® grille and specially designed air inlets with sharply drawn edges. Chrome fog light grilles add another exclusive element to the TT Coupe's exterior. The signature LED daytime running lights and high-intensity headlights are not only distinctive but also functional, improving visibility while using just half the energy of conventional lights. The rear bumper has also been redesigned in keeping with the overall aesthetic, and the TT Coupe's unique rear diffuser with dual exhaust and automatic retractable rear spoiler add an aggressive and exclusive look to the vehicle.
The interior of the TT Coupe is just as impressive. Standard sport seats with Fine Nappa leather and Alcantara® inserts give the interior a distinctly performance –oriented look and feel while offering greater lateral support with prominent side bolsters and extendable thigh support. The power front seats can be adjusted by driver and passenger for height, depth and angle, as well as lumbar support. Split folding rear seats allow for a class-leading 24.7 cubic feet of storage space. The leather-wrapped, multifunctional race-inspired magnesium three-spoke steering wheel includes shift paddles for quick gear changes, as wheel as easy access to Bluetooth®-enabled phone, audio volume and CD track selections. The DVD-based Audi Navigation Plus system features a 6.25" full-color LCD screen and MMI®-inspired control logic for AM/FM/Satellite radio, as well as two SD card slots for MP3 music and the option of a six-CD changer or iPad®-compatible Audi music interface.

The 2011 Audi TT Coupe includes multiple standard safety features. The brake disc wiping system gently pulses the brakes to dissipate water in wet conditions. The brake assist system detects when full stopping power is required. The Electronic Stability Control keeps you going in the intended direction by combing ABS, ASR and EBD, cutting the throttle and applying brakes to help steer when loss of traction is detected. Audi Space Frame technology utilizes aluminum and steel for a lightweight design that enhances body strength. And six standard second-generation airbags throughout the vehicle provide an extra measure of safety and confidence.
